I am angry at my beer for being empty
and that is what drove me here to explain myself
believe me there are many worse places i’ve been
even without exaggerating my risk taking
which i would never ever do

i threw a glass up in the air once
on a crowded dance floor
it was an accident!
and it landed on a poor girl from leavenworth
i was urgently informed they were from leavenworth
and i should watch out

i wasn’t really feeling the watching out
i was only watching out for ME
look at ME not watching out
i can do that because i’m drunk and
from wenatchee

not sure i remember what happened then
probably my girlfriend graciously ushering me away
understanding i was a good looking idiot
i had genuine girlfriends then
before i tired them all
and was left with only the what comes around
and that’s the bitch that broke me.
